Are there any scholarships or grants for children of single/widowed parents?

My dad killed himself when i was 7 and my brother was 8. Ever since then my mom raised us by herself. It was a struggle and she never made enough money to save for our college. I want to go to a community college to get my Associates degree in veterinary technology and wanted to know if there are any grants or anything for children of widowed parents? Please help!

Obama’s “mom’s Return To School” Government Grant Scholarship
